POLICIES:

You have a free card to borrow books/other media at the Library if you live within Notus city limits (NOT school district boundaries). How do you know? If you have a postal box for free or if you have city water, you live in the city of Notus.

Outside of the city, membership is $15.00 a year for a single card, $20.00 for a family. If you are a senior, your cost is $7.00 for a lifetime card. In 2007-08 we are offering a reduced price,$7.00, for a card for families receiving First Book grant books.

All media are checked out for 3 weeks, with renewal available. Fines are $.25 per day. The librarian will assess the cost for damaged or lost materials.

Everyone may use the computers for free. We use an on-line filter to block pornographic or violent material on the Internet. The Board voted to block MySpace also because younger children were being listed by siblings, complete with home phone and home address.
